Suitable for use in M-14s, FALs, and other 7.62x51/.308 Winchester rifles, these rounds fire a 147 grain full metal jacket bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,800 feet per second and deliver excellent performance for long-range target shooting. This ammo ships in two sturdy plastic Winchester-branded ammo cans, each of which features a latch, folding handle, and stackable form factor. You can continue using them long after you've fired the ammo! The 7.62 NATO cartridge dates to the 1950s, when it replaced the .30-06 Springfield in US military service.
