I already had a ZT 0301, and it proved itself to be the best EDC knife I've ever had. I came to realize that I needed a second blade of the same design, also a Zero Tolerance. Why? I've had lots of blades over my 66 years, but none of them match the quality, reliability, and utility of ZT's offerings. To me, these knives designed by the great Ken Onion, have no equal for that for which they were designed and crafted. All my other EDC knives are retired, and will go to my children or friends. Like my ZT 0301, the new Z T0303 is nothing less than superb. When you pick it up, it is solid, durable, and crafted like no other folders. It's positive opening is such that you are confident that it will be ready, if and when, you are. Like any weapon that you have trained with, and are proficient with, these blades will not fail you. They would be eminently worthy of being collector's items, but that's not their true purpose. They are quality "tools," ones that are loaded with potential, having been designed to serve in the most dire of extremes. To those who opine that a folder of a half pound weight to be "too heavy," or "too expensive," what is a life, yours or a loved one's, worth? Would you rely upon a cheaply constructed blade that is not only inexpensive, but incapable of doing what is necessary? Only the individual can answer that. As for me, I've never gone "cheap" on any equipment, preferring to do without, waiting, until I had the necessary funds to meet my needs...

Kershaw's Zero Tolerance division is the Land Rover of folding knives. They have no equals. You can come close, but sometimes, close only counts in hand grenades and horseshoes...

Amazon.com is where I got both of my ZT's, both ZT 0301 and ZT 0303. I could not be happier with these products- in quality, price, or excellence of service and deliver.

Do I recommend the ZT 0303 (and by extension, the ZT 0301)? Unreservedly. Five out of Five Stars... When only the very best will do...

I collect many knives. ZT is my favorite. When the 0300-1-2 came out I strayed from them because they felt plain and simply cumbersome. Not surprised they did well being ZTs.

But, the 0303 is Definitely Different. It's a Grand Slam! Meaning it's been massaged if you will. More care into this one. The handle is a bit more refined to fit your hand. The Alligator scales on the clip side insures a comfortable steady grip. And keeps it Stealthy also. Fit, Finish, Feel, Deployment, lively in hand Balance etc... They simply got this one RIGHT! They're going up Fast in price. I Know these will Increase in value. I bought 2 of them for a Better price than now earlier.. They're Still rising in price here and other sites. This advise applies to the collectors as well For SURE! As you know they are Discontinued. This, is a Safe Queen!

So, Play it Smart and Collect the Art!

I really need a good knife for work, for self defense, in a back up role. This knife fits that role as well as an EDC knife very well. It is a very solid frame lock, very sharp right out of the box. It may be to heavy and possibly to large if you have small hands, if you are a big fan of knives like the Spyderco Police, or Endura, or other light knives, you most likely would find this knife too big and too heavy. If you are a warfighter, police officer, federal agent, you most likely would really like this knife. (Just my very humble opinion.)
I never leave the house without a knife, and I now carry this knife every day. Also because of my work, I never leave the house without a firearm either, and I would not carry this knife if I didn't trust that it will do the job in a life or death situation, nor would I suggest that you buy, and carry it, if I did not fully trust it.

Every ZT is a great knife and the 0303 is one of the very best! An impressive piece of eye candy. Very solid, a brute of a pocket knife. Fast and locks up solid. Sharp right out of the box. Blade closed centers perfectly. No lateral play at all. I have six ZT's in my collection. 0560 is number one and 0393 is number two best. A bit too heavy for slacks and perfect for Ooeratirs Cargo Oants

A great utility knife that keeps its edge even when using it as a digging tool. A few swipes of my sharpening stone and I am ready to go. I have used this knife to pry metal apart without fear of snapping the blade. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

I wholeheartedly agree with all the previous positive reviews. I just wanted to add a clarification for those on the fence about considering this gorgeous knife for every day carry (EDC). I wear jeans every day and can confirm that this knife fits comfortably clipped to the inside of your pocket. I have a few EDC knives and the ZT303 is wider than most when folded, but not impractically wide. I can still fit my wallet and keys in the same front pocket without "knuckle rash" or any other functional issues.

Its very expensive, but its the best knife I've carried since serving. Easy to open with either hand, fits my hand well and has a nice weight to it and the blade is tough. It gets 3 stars because there's no sheath for it and for that price it should include a very nice sheath. I shouldn't have to buy a longer clip for $30.00 either. No complaints about the knife but customer service is a futile exercise when I called and asked about sheaths . . . it took 3 transfers to get to someone who knew they sold the knife but I'm apparently the very very first one to ask about it . . . Great knife . . .

Wow.
