I just ordered these to replace the one (same exact model) that I lost. I'd used that one for almost 9 years. Every year (at an event called Pennsic), it saw two weeks of intensive use and abuse.
I'm a musician and my instrument requires me to sit in a chair without my arms being constrained by arm wrests.
The only reason I need to replace it is because I lost my last one. It did not break.
The only issue I've ever had with this model is one of the screws coming out from the center piece that holds the 3 legs together. It was easy enough to fix, just added a new screw of roughly the same size and it was good to go.
I'd highly recommend this camping stool for both casual and intensive usage.
