Mark, that really depends on what you want to use it for. As a home defense shotgun, it is a very good value for the money. It has a 3" chamber, so you can shoot either 2 3/4" or 3" shells. Have a great day!

is just the one I bought or is the Picatinny rail too big to mount accessories such as a light. The top rail is fine but the bottom does work for my light.

That's weird, they should both be the same. I'd contact emperor arms at (239) 201-3757 or email them at info@emperorarms.com to see why it won't fit. I know sometimes the polymer picatinny rails are harder to mount things onto then metal picatinny rails. I'm guessing either the picatinny rail or the flashlight mount isn't to the correct specs. I'd try another flashlight or as James said get a picatinny rail riser a metal one you can find them for like $10 and hopefully that will work. sorry you're having issues but hope this helps.
