Joe, yes sir, as others have mentioned you can have this shipped and pick it up at buds in Sevierville as long as you live in Tennessee. Your state of residence must be the same as the state you transfer the pistol in. When checking out just use buds FFL locator and type in your zip code. Then pick buds as your FFL. Hope this helps.

The description reads black, in the questions below it’s described as parkerized, the most historically authentic finish of the original military issue.. ie a greenish gray

William, now this one is. It is a Dark Gray Military type finish. So this is the one you are looking for. If you Google the upc 742309782453 you can find more information. Hope this helps.

I was reluctant to purchase a Tisas firearm being I’ve never heard of them. Weeks of reading and watching reviews I decided for the price I’d give it a shot. (Hiyo!) I was very pleased with this firearm. It is will built and has a tight fit. 500 - 600 rounds later I’m even more pleased. Looking at more Tisas firearms. I have several nice 1911s but I wanted a new 1911 that most closely resembled the old 1911A1s I carried when I was in the Army in the 70s. This is of course a new pistol and has all the great qualities of a modern CNC made pistol will show, but it is closest to the basic GI issue 1911A1 I carried. I did not buy this pistol to shoot so I cannot comment on how it operates but everything I have read about seems to be very favorable.

First 1911 Purchase ... I Fired a few hundred rounds already and it is on target....quite on target! I purchased the optional wood grip handles and extra clips as well and now it looks completely authentic and feels much better in my hand. Fit and finish are perfect...Best mid $300 gun purchase I have made and I got a sweet 1911. Bought several guns from Buds they are my go to and great experience every time!

Amazing. I took this to the range and it functioned pretty much flawlessly. The only issues I had were user error (limp-wristing mostly). Very accurate, smooth shooting handgun. The fit and finish are amazing. The quality you get cannot be beat for the price. I honestly do not know how they charge so little for such a fine quality pistol. I look forward to using this for World War II reenacting as well as another carry pistol. Thank you Bud's Gun Shop for your outstanding prices, making the ordering process easy, and getting the pistol to me so quickly.
