Weatherby 18i Synthetic
The new 18i Synthetic semi-auto shotgun from Weatherby is available in 12-gauge only, with a 3.5-inch chamber ($1099.00). It’s built on Weatherby’s proven inertia system, that provides reliable cycling with 2.75-inch, 3.00-inch and 3.5-inch shotshells in an evenly-weighted gun that points well and swings easily. Designed for shooters that require superior reliability with high volume shooting, the single piece receiver is precision machined from billet aluminum for strength and simplicity. The advanced elastomer synthetic stock has been designed for a seamless fit to the shooter with a soft touch area on the cheek rest and aggressive texture in the palm and forearm. The premium engineering and material composition will provide enduring and consistent performance in the harshest of environments. During low lighting conditions, the high luminosity LPA fiber front sight ensures accurate target acquisition. The safety is conveniently located behind the trigger with a positive red ring for visible confirmation when in the “off safe” position. Five choke tubes and a choke tube wrench are included and contained in a small plastic case. It comes with a matte finished, elastomer synthetic stock and forearm for reduced perceived recoil, full-length ventilated top rib and LPA fiber-optic front sight. Capacity is 4+1 rounds of 2.75-inch shells (2+1 with magazine limiting plug installed). It is equipped with a 28-inch barrel and weighs 7.0-pounds empty.
