Interest in rimfire and pistol suppressors has climbed, helped by rimfire competition and, according to the article, the end of the federal transfer tax and a faster transfer process. Many of those cans are lightweight aluminum designs that collect carbon quickly, but most can be taken apart by the owner. Otis built this kit around that routine maintenance.

The case doubles as the soaking tub and fits suppressors up to 12 inches long in most common diameters. Inside are a 16 oz bottle of concentrate that mixes 1:1 with warm water to make 32 oz of fluid, three cleaning brushes in bronze, nylon and stainless steel, a baffle and tube brush, a microfiber cloth and nitrile gloves. The solution is described as biodegradable, non-toxic and non-flammable, and the reviewer noted it lacks a harsh smell.

For testing, the reviewer broke down a titanium SureFire Ryder 9-Ti and soaked its cone baffles overnight. They came clean easily, the small brushes reached the tight spots, and the baffle brush handled the tube from both ends. He now keeps the kit in his truck. Refill solution and replacement brushes are sold separately.
