ARX ammunition is designed for self-defense but relies on three angled flutes in the bullet as opposed to expansion from conventional soft-point and jacketed hollow-point rounds. During entry, the flutes take advantage of the forward momentum as well as the rotation of the bullet and redirect them outward in order to create a wide wound cavity for maximum terminal performance. ARX bullets are lead-free and will penetrate intermediate barriers with minimal deflection.
