I purchased this gun with a grain of salt, being fairly new and with a little rough heritage. First off, Cheaper Than Dirt is a great business. Buy with confidence. Once the gun shipped, they shipped it with two day shipping so I had it quickly. Awesome. Second, I was expecting a lower quality firearm. What came was not. I was honestly surprised with the build quality of this gun. Pretty good overall, superb for a cheap gun. S&W have hit the value sweet spot. I might buy the nine just because. There is a small plastic blemish behind the trigger, and the sights are OK for being plastic with painted dots, so the sights are definitely getting upgraded. Put a few boxes of ammo through, and it ate everything in about two hundred shots with no failures to feed or fire. Some of these were crappy reloads as well. Trigger is not terrible, pretty standard for double action. Buy with confidence. With upgraded sights, it'll be a fine gun.
