XS R3D 2.0 Night Sights Arrive for the CZ P-09 Nocturne

The short version: XS Sights now offers its R3D 2.0 tritium night sights for the CZ P-09 Nocturne, a replacement for the factory sights aimed at defensive shooting in low light.

The set uses a three-dot notch-and-post layout. Up front is XS's Glow Dot in green or orange with tritium at its center, which makes the front dot bigger and brighter than the two tritium dots in the rear. The point is to pull your eye to the front sight and the target rather than splitting attention across three equal dots.

The rear notch is wide, so the front post is easier to pick up quickly. For Nocturne owners who carry or keep the pistol for home defense, that is the kind of upgrade that helps most when lighting is poor. XS, based in Texas, has been making sights for pistols, rifles and shotguns for more than 30 years.

Night sights are a long-term purchase, so the warranty is worth noting: XS covers its sights with a limited lifetime warranty and adds a 12-year illumination warranty on tritium products. No price was listed in the announcement.
