Remington® R51 Handguns Modern version of Remington’s original Model 51 Match-grade 3.4" barrel and bushing Handles +P factory ammunition Internal hammer-fired, Pedersen action with a locked breech Fixed 416 stainless steel barrel Ambidextrous magazine release Remington's R51 Handgun is a modern version of Remington's original Model 51, designed in 1915 by John Pedersen. The Model 51, considered ahead of its time, became one of General George Patton's personal side arms during World War II. Remington's R51 Handgun modernizes and updates Pedersen's design to work with 9mm Luger cartridges while maintaining the personality, shooting characteristics and size of the original. The R51 averages 25% less muzzle flip with the lowest bore axis in the industry. It has intuitive pointing characteristics with optimized grip angle. Positive grip safety deactivates a safety lever while under stress. This highly concealable pistol with a match-grade 3.4" barrel and bushing handles +P factory ammunition. It uses an internal hammer-fired Pedersen action with a locked breech and fixed 416 stainless steel barrel. Slim aluminum frame has 25-lines-per-in. checkering on the front grip strap and drift-adjustable sights. Ambidextrous magazine release allows left- and right-handed shooters to easily eject the flush-fitting, seven-round magazine. Two magazines included. Features a CCW trigger system. A built-in Crimson Trace® Laserguard® model is also available.  Cancer and Reproductive Harm- www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
