ZEV OZ DOOM XL: Tungsten-Weighted Long-Slide 9mm, Two-Week Preorder
The short version: ZEV Technologies and WRMFZY have teamed up again on the OZ DOOM XL, a long-slide 9mm on ZEV's OZ9 that adds tungsten weights in the grip. It lists at $2,900, and preorders are open only from October 31 to November 14, 2026.

This is a follow-up to the two companies' first OZ DOOM pistol from 2023. The main upgrade is a Gen 2 grip, exclusive to this launch, machined from 7075 aluminum with FDE anodizing, aggressive checkering and a built-in magwell. Two tungsten weights load from the top of the grip to change the balance and tame muzzle movement. Athlon's Karen Hunter points out that how much that helps will come down to the shooter and the ammo.
ZEV fits its Fulcrum Adjustable trigger, with pre-travel and over-travel adjustment, and says the slide springs are tuned for this build. The slide wears WRMFZY branding and DLC, with optic cuts for RMR or DPP footprints, and the frame and barrel are DLC-finished too. Two magazines with Doom Gypsy art on the basepads ship in a yellow Condition 1 case.
At $2,900 this is a collector and competition piece, not a value buy. If you want one, the short window is the thing to watch: deliveries are expected starting March 1, 2027. Matching ZEV x WRMFZY hoodies and shirts are also up for preorder through WRMFZY.
